Antique Reeves Ceramic Palette Mixing Tray.

This Palette is in generally very good condition though will show signs of wear which really is not to surprising as it probably dates from 1870 to 1890 although it could be earlier.

It may have started its life in a Watercolour box and indeed it would look very fine as a replacement to another box.

It could also be used and is just as strong and useable as any modern one and very much nicer.

These things have a presence that can’t be made but only earned.

It is a good size at approx, 19.5 x 8 x 1 cm
