This is a genuinely rare tube and by one of the great makers of the 19th century. 
This was a prolific firm and supplied just about everything an Artist could wish for. 
 
These types of tubes come up rarely and would surely be worthy additions to any collection. 
This particular paint is hard and would need work to make it useable again. 
It is a lovely little thing just filled with history and colour.
