This is a good set of brushes in bristle by a very famous maker.
They are clean enough to use right now but could be cleaned more with the judicious use of Acetone. This is very good at removing old oil paint that is less than three hundred years old.
These brushes are well made and if looked after will last a very long time and being by such a famous maker are a pleasure to use.
They are generally about the size of a modern long handled brush.
Quite lovely and full of history and promise.
