This is the largest Winsor and Newton oval ceramic palette I have ever seen. It is large and gorgeous at the same time!
I think it was probably made between 1890 and 1910. 
It’s condition is excellent with just a few areas where it’s picked up a bit of staining from paints when used. 
It does have a crazed look but this should be expected because of its age but it is really nice and could be set to work straight away. 
It has also to be said that because of its size it’s genuinely rare. I’ve been collecting for over forty years and been a museum’s conservator for all that time and never seen another like it.
