Antique Winsor Newton Ceramic Palette Mixing Tray.
This Palette is in generally very good condition though will show signs of wear which really is not to surprising as it probably dates from 1870 to 1890.

This is one of the large trays that were intended to fill the lower drawers of their wonderful watercolour boxes.
Having said that it is of a size that is most useful to painting generally with or without a box.
